¶ 1. This appeal arises out of Johnny James Colton's conviction of rape in the Circuit Court of the First Judicial District of Hinds County, Mississippi. Colton was indicted for the crimes of forcible rape and robbery by exhibiting a deadly weapon. Following a jury trial, Honorable W.
