DREW, J.

Frederick H. Lathan was convicted September 15, 1999, of two counts of distribution of C.D.S. Schedule II (La. R.S. 40:967) and on November 16, 1999, was sentenced to nine years hard labor on each count, with each sentence to run consecutively. On appeal the defendant complains that insufficient evidence supports the conviction and that the sentences are excessive. We affirm the conviction and sentence.
