After a jury trial, appellant Steven McCoy was found guilty of assault with a dangerous weapon1 and possession of a prohibited weapon.2 He filed a timely notice of appeal to this court arguing that: 1) there was insufficient evidence to sustain his convictions; 2) the trial court erred in not sua sponte interrupting the prosecutor during his closing and rebuttal arguments...
