In October 1997, plaintiff, Kenneth L. Hesson, sued defendants, William D. Leichsenring and John L. Livingston, d/b/a Chatham Disposal (collectively Chatham), for injuries he sustained in an automobile accident. In September 1999, a jury returned a verdict in Hesson's favor and awarded him $45,809.12. In October 1999, Hesson filed a motion to tax costs, pursuant to section 5-108 of the Code of Civil Procedure...
