William Andrew Scott appeals his conviction for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1)1. Scott raises only one issue on appeal. He argues that the felony-in-possession statute is an invalid exercise of Congress' Commerce Clause power because possession of a firearm by a convicted felon is not conduct which has a substantial impact on interstate commerce.
