Defendant pleaded guilty to a charge of resisting arrest, M.C.L. § 750.479; MSA 28.747, but failed to appear for sentencing. He was subsequently arrested and charged with absconding on a felony bond, M.C.L. § 750.199a; MSA 28.396(1).
