CARTER, C.J.

The defendant, Lincoln Mance, was charged by bill of information with one count of theft of goods having a value greater than $100.00 but less than $500.00, a violation of LSA-R.S. 14:67.10. He pled not guilty and, after trial by jury, was found guilty as charged. He subsequently was sentenced to two years imprisonment at hard labor. He has appealed, urging two assignments of error.
