NATURE OF CASE

Connie Roeder pled guilty and was convicted in the district court for Buffalo County of one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of attempted possession of a controlled substance. The district court denied Roeder's subsequent motion to withdraw her pleas. Roeder was sentenced to a term of 6 to 12 years' imprisonment on the possession conviction and a term of 1 year's imprisonment...
