In May of 1996, the defendant was indicted for trafficking in 200 grams or more of cocaine. After a joint trial with the codefendant, one Rafael Flores Lopez, the jury found the defendant guilty. On appeal, the defendant claims that (1) the judge improperly denied his motion for a required finding of not guilty; (2) a coventurer's statement was erroneously admitted; (3) the prosecutor improperly appealed to the jury's emotions during his closing argument...
