¶ 1. On June 13, 2000, Christopher Conway Boyd filed a motion for post-conviction relief in the DeSoto County Circuit Court. The circuit court denied the motion, holding that it was barred by the statute of limitations, by the doctrine of res judicata and by the prohibition against successive writs.
