In this appeal, we focus on the status of a brown paper bag that was searched by police after it was placed at the curb of a public street in Baltimore City by Marvin Powell, appellant. Appellant vigorously maintains that he did not abandon the bag, and therefore he contends that the police unlawfully searched it.
