Defendant, Wendy Parent, appeals from her conviction of theft of goods valued between $100 and $500. We affirm the conviction and sentence and remand.

The Defendant was arraigned on June 8, 2000. On July 20, 2000, the Defendant waived her right to a jury trial and was found guilty in a judge trial. Following delays, she was sentenced on September 27, 2000 to imprisonment at hard labor for two years. The sentence was suspended and...
