Charged with second degree murder in violation of La. R.S. 14:30.1, Hubert Delaney Walker was convicted by jury of second degree murder of Josephine Johnson McKinney (Josie). The trial court imposed a life sentence at hard labor without benefit of probation, parole or suspension of sentence.
