Following a bench trial, defendant, Hunter K. Murdock, was found guilty of aggravated fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer (count I) (625 ILCS 5/11-204.1(a) (West 1998)), and unlawful possession of an altered temporary registration permit (count II) (625 ILCS 5/4-104(a)(3) (West 1998)).
