Respondent, Nathaniel Marr, was convicted in the Circuit Court for Prince George's County of the first degree premeditated murder of Arthur Carroll, the first degree assault of Jimmy Abass, and two counts of the use of a handgun in the commission of a crime of violence, for which he was given substantial consecutive sentences.
