¶ 1. Carlos Jones pled guilty to a charge of robbery and was sentenced to serve a term of ten years. He filed a motion for post-conviction relief alleging ineffective assistance of counsel. Specifically, Jones alleged that his attorney assured him that he would be sentenced to only a six year term if he pled guilty. The trial court, after reviewing the record, including a copy of the transcript of Jones's guilty plea, denied relief...
