("TurboCare") is the owner of U.S. Patent No. 4,436,311 ("the '311 patent"), which is directed to a shaft sealing system for fluid turbines. TurboCare brought suit against General Electric Co. ("GE") in the United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, asserting infringement of the '311 patent.
