In January 2001, plaintiff, Anthony E. Robinson, an inmate at Pontiac Correctional Center (Pontiac), filed a pro se petition for writ of habeas corpus, alleging that defendant, James M. Schomig, the Pontiac warden, had violated his due process rights in numerous disciplinary proceedings over several years.
