ROLADER v. The STATE.

Court of Appeals of Georgia.

April 12, 2001.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

Moulton & Massey, John W. Moulton, Conyers, Laura A. Rice, Athens, for appellant.

Richard R. Read, Dist. Atty., Dabney Y. Kentner, Asst. Dist. Atty., for appellee.

RUFFIN, Judge.

Rolader appeals, asserting that the trial court erred in ruling that it lacked discretion to sentence him under OCGA § 17-10-1(b), which would have made him eligible for parole prior to the completion of his sentenced incarceration. We disagree and therefore affirm.
