The petitioner, Wendell Minnifield, appeals from the judgment of the habeas court denying his amended petition for a writ of habeas corpus in which he alleged ineffective assistance of counsel. He claims that the court improperly determined that (1) his counsel's investigation prior to the petitioner's plea of guilty was not insufficient, (2) there was no basis for suppressing the confession of the petitioner, and counsel's decision...
