OPINION

SILER, Circuit Judge.

Petitioner Joseph L. Valentine appeals the district court's dismissal of his habeas corpus petition as time-barred by the one-year statute of limitations set forth in 28 U.S.C. § 2244(d)(1)(A). We affirm.
