H. Victor Teti injured Patricia Young in an automobile accident; Teti was at fault. Teti's insurance carrier paid $9,386 to Young. Young sued Teti for damages. The jury returned a verdict for Young, against which the trial court offset the $9,386 that Teti's insurance carrier had already paid Young.
