Alfredo Fuentes Pedrosa was convicted of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon after a jury trial and sentenced to a fifteen (15) year term of incarceration, with a ten (10) year minimum mandatory as a habitual violent felony offender. He brings this appeal claiming that he is entitled to a new trial because the trial court reversibly erred in admitting the out-of-court statements of the victim and his girlfriend, where neither of them testified at trial...
