This appeal arises out of a lawsuit filed by Karen Mayer and Sandra Hilbrich1 alleging that negligence on the part of the staff of Spohn Hospital resulted in the death of Raymond Gus Hilbrich while he was a patient at Spohn Hospital in Corpus Christi, Texas.
