APPELWICK, J.

Miguel Pierre appeals his first degree assault conviction. A rational trier of fact could find that a defendant's repeated kicking of a defenseless victim in the head is "force or means likely to produce death or great bodily injury" in violation of the first degree assault statute. RCW 9A.36.011(1)(a). We affirm.
