Following a Cobb County bench trial, the superior court convicted defendant Royce Glen Taylor of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. The defendant and his wife, co-defendant Elizabeth Rakestraw Taylor, were acquitted of theft by receiving stolen property (firearm).
