Through a petition for a writ of prohibition, Rahr Malting Company (Rahr) asks this court to prohibit the Minnesota Tax Court from holding a public trial in its appeal of a tax valuation of its malting facility. The tax court denied Rahr's motion to close portions of the trial to the public and to seal portions of the record to protect certain proprietary information.
