Defendant Ronnie Collins appeals his conviction for simple possession of cocaine. For the following reasons, we affirm.

STATEMENT OF THE CASE:

On March 15, 2000, Mr. Collins was charged by bill of information with possession of cocaine. La.Rev.Stat. 40:967. On March 28, 2000, a six-member jury found him guilty as charged. He was sentenced on May 30, 2000, to five years at hard labor, suspended, and placed on active probation. His...
