The alleged existence of a prescriptive easement on an oceanfront beach provides both the physical and the legal locus for this case. The defendants, Green Hill Civic Association and numerous John and Jane Does, appeal from a Superior Court summary judgment in favor of the plaintiff, Carla Christine Stone, the record owner of the beach in question.
