Members of a law firm appeal the lower court's denial of their request for a writ of mandamus. An employee of the firm had been appointed by the circuit court to represent an indigent client, and the client subsequently sued the law firm for malpractice. The firm's members sought a writ of mandamus to compel the appellee, the Wood County Commission, to indemnify the law firm for costs it incurred...
