Last year we resolved 15 consolidated appeals arising from activities of the Traveling Vice Lords street gang. United States v. Patterson,215 F.3d 776 (7th Cir.2000). Thirteen convictions and sentences were affirmed, one conviction was reversed (with a remand for a new trial at the prosecution's option), and one sentence was vacated with instructions to rethink the possibility of departure from the sentencing guidelines...
