Plaintiff commenced this action on September 14, 1999 seeking to recover damages for personal injuries he allegedly sustained in August 1991 when, as a pedestrian, he was struck by a motor vehicle driven by defendant. After joinder, defendant moved for summary judgment contending that the action was barred by both the applicable Statute of Limitations and plaintiff's execution of a release on November 20, 1991...
