NATURE OF CASE

The Nebraska Liquor Control Commission (Commission) issued a liquor license to Kabredlo's, Inc. The City of Lincoln (City) appealed the decision to the district court for Lancaster County. The City argued, inter alia, that the license should not have been granted because Kabredlo's was not able to sell liquor at the proposed location due to the fact that under the controlling zoning ordinance, the sale of alcoholic beverages...
