Following a bench trial, defendant, Steven Herring, was convicted of two counts of home invasion and four counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault. He was sentenced to six years' imprisonment for each count of aggravated criminal sexual assault, with the terms to run consecutively, and one year's imprisonment for home invasion, to run concurrently.
