Defendant, Ike Oliver, III, moved to quash two bills of information charging him with the attempted second degree murders of Alfred and Diane Buckley.1 Finding that the state failed to bring defendant to trial within the two-year period required by La.C.Cr.P. art. 578(2), the trial court granted the motion.
