In August 1989, defendant was convicted, following a jury trial, of each of the aforementioned crimes and was sentenced, as a second felony offender, to consecutive terms of imprisonment resulting in an aggregate sentence of 25 to 50 years. His appeal to this Court was unsuccessful (172 A.D.2d 879, lv denied 77 N.Y.2d 999).
