James Knowles appeals his conviction for the first-degree murder of his former wife, alleging that the trial court erred in three respects. First, he asserts that the trial court erred by refusing to direct a verdict in his behalf because the State failed to prove premeditation, and, second, that it was error to replay almost, but not all, of an audiotape to the jury.
