This case involves a custody dispute between the mother, father, and maternal grandparents of a minor child, Aaron McLendon Adams (Aaron). Aaron was born on 15 February 1998 as a result of a single instance of unprotected sexual intercourse in July 1997 between defendant, Erin Christina Tessener (Tessener), and intervenor, Edward Scott Lackey (Lackey). In September 1997, Tessener informed Lackey that she was pregnant and that he was likely the father...
