¶ 1. Lilliana Maldonado was indicted by a grand jury in Rankin County, Mississippi, for possession of more than thirty grams of cocaine in violation of Miss.Code Ann. § 41-29-139. Following a jury trial, Maldonado was convicted on the possession charge. She was subsequently sentenced to thirty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections.
