Marvin Francisco's appeal from a murder conviction arises from a 1997 shooting on the West Seattle Bridge. Police found the gun used in the shooting in a search of Francisco's mother's home. Francisco contended the search was illegal, and assigns error to the court's denial of his motion to suppress. But in order to challenge the fruits of a search, a person charged with a non-possessory crime must have a legitimate expectation...
