James Brandon, LaVelle Parker and Essie Nichols filed this action under 42 U.S.C. § 1983 and various Illinois laws for violations of their civil rights arising out of a botched drug bust on July 16, 1998. On August 3, 2001, I granted summary judgment for the defendants on all of Ms. Nichols' claims and on all of the federal claims against Chief Leach and the Village of Maywood. I granted summary...
