Andrew Loredo appeals from his conviction for murder. The jury ultimately assessed punishment at 20 years imprisonment and a $10,000 fine. On appeal, Loredo contends that the trial court erred: (1) in denying his motion for new trial because one of the jurors was determined to have been absolutely disqualified from service, and (2) in refusing to reform the verdict when the jury originally returned with an unauthorized...
