PROCEDURAL HISTORY

¶ 1. In March 1999, James Wesley Bridges was indicted in the Leflore County Circuit Court on two counts: aggravated assault and attempted rape. A jury found Bridges not guilty of attempted rape, but guilty of aggravated assault.
