Evelyn M. Harrell1 appeals a summary judgment awarding a death benefit payable by the Teachers' Retirement System of Louisiana ("TRSL") to Terry G. Brown, Sr., rather than to her. For the reasons that follow, we affirm and remand for further proceedings.
