DICKSON, Justice

The defendant, Tim L. Godby, was convicted of murder1 for the December 9, 1995 slaying of Jeffrey A. Asberry in New Castle, Indiana. We find that this appeal presents three issues: (1) admissibility of a taped conversation between the defendant and police; (2) propriety of juror conduct and court responses to jury questions; and (3) newly discovered evidence.
