This case comes before us on the appeal of the defendant, Donna Dellatore, from a judgment of conviction entered in the Superior Court in which a jury found her guilty of second-degree murder. The trial justice denied the defendant's motion for a new trial, sentenced her to fifty years imprisonment (with thirty years to serve and twenty years suspended with probation), and ordered her to attend counseling upon her release...
