This case arises from a high school senior's expulsion from her school's softball team. Defendants Pleasant Hope R-VI School District ("Pleasant Hope") and Micki Stout ("Coach Stout"), (collectively "Defendants"), have moved to dismiss Plaintiff Jana Wooten's ("Wooten") constitutional and tort claims against them. Wooten alleges she was denied procedural due process when she was expelled from her high school's softball program...
