{1} On July 4, 1987, while driving her parents' Ford F100 pickup truck, Plaintiff-Appellee, Nichelle Ponder, was injured in an automobile accident with an unidentified and uninsured motorist leaving her quadriplegic and suffering from severe brain injuries.
