242 Ga. App. 449

OGBURN v. The STATE (Two Cases).

Court of Appeals of Georgia.

Reconsideration Denied February 22, 2000.

Certiorari Denied June 9, 2000.

Attorney(s) appearing for the Case

William L. Ogburn, pro se.

Gwendolyn R. Keyes, Solicitor, D. Max Hirsh, Pilar Gigante, Assistant Solicitors, for appellee.

McMURRAY, Presiding Judge.

Defendant Ogburn was tried before a jury and acquitted of simple battery. Defendant later filed a motion for correction of judgment and/or modification of the record in an attempt to set aside the earlier denial of his motion for directed verdict of acquittal— which defendant alleged impaired his ability to pursue a malicious prosecution claim.
