EDWARDS, Judge.

Defendant Toller East appeals his conviction of being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm, a violation of La. R.S. 14:95.1. We affirm.

On November 24, 1998, a bill of information was filed charging East with one count of being a felon in possession of a weapon. At his arraignment defendant pled not guilty.
